Kids will be kids.

It occurred to me today that'd I forgotten to include a couple of favourite photos which were pretty amusing from Yvonne & Steve's recent wedding.

I find that if you sit and watch people (but mainly kids), in the second of a shutter release you often capture funny moments that would otherwise be missed. These are two classics!

Sam & Matt's Wedding - 21st Sept '07 - Lower Slaughter Manor / Cotswold House Hotel

This wedding fell on what I've now termed 'Fantastic Friday', having had 3 wedding bookings that morning before I even left the house!

A great start to my day was backed up by fine weather and the exciting news that Sam was also 3 months pregnant - so congratulations again.

Lower Slaughter Manor is... as my wife put it, "An English equivalent of a French Chateux" with charming looks fit to complement any wedding.

Anyway, enough blah.... here's some photos from the day.

The spiral staircase of Cotswold House Hotel - a chic boutique hotel hideaway in the Cotswolds.

Sweets for your guests - a nice touch. Ahh ok, I admit, I took a little dogie bag home for me & Ali!

This photo is a fav of mine and a real grower. It's pretty abstract and 'feels' really nice. Simple tones & slight movement along with the shadow of Sam's arm in the top right make this simple composition strong.

I like this photo for the pure comedy value of the best mans head....... well, being a pair of pants.

Erica & Rob's Wedding - 1st Sept '07 - Owlpen Manor, Nr Uley, Gloucestershire

I'd been looking forward to Erica & Rob's wedding for some time as it was at http://www.owlpen.com where I'd not photographed before. They only have approximately six weddings a year so it's certainly an exclusive venue!

The weather was perfect and I felt very welcomed at her parents home where I started out. Erica was a calm bride, very relaxed and just all about enjoying the day - my fav!

Erica has a great relationship with her dad and these two shots reflected this so well.

No photos were allowed during the ceremony (crap!) but I still managed a few great shots either side.

I thought it time I actually put a group shot or two on my blog. Out of 70 ish guests, how many have their eyes closed then?
