The Courts - 3rd June 2009
It must have been about a year since I last took some family portraits with Jo & Harry and this time there was a new addition....well two new additions in fact! No not twins, but Harry's little sister Florence and Dad! I hadn't met dad last time as the photos we did were for a fathers day surprise, so it was nice to see the whole family this time round....including step brother & Co.
It's great getting to shoot family photos again with previous clients as we can get straight down to having a laugh from the off. Jo kindly took me to one of Cheltenhams notorious 'view points'.....or Dog 'walking' spots as it's commonly known! Thankfully day and night are two separate affairs and we had a great time rolling around in butter cups, rather than flashing our interior light (say no more)! Our session did come to a disappointing end though as we didn't get the 'ice cream' shot as hoped, but instead watched the van go steaming off straight past us - doh!
Maybe next time. Anyhow, here's a few of my favs from the shoot.

Love this children's portrait on the right - soo sweet.
The obligatory family portrait. All smiling at once, no one with closed eyes, heads up - doh...who spoilt it!?
We even did a few couple portraits. It's like being married all over again!
