Wedding Photography Cripps Barn - Gloucestershire

Last weekend I was at Cripps Barn in Gloucestershire for James & Jenny's wedding.  Preps started at her mums home in Cheltenham, with a few local faces by way of the Hair Dresser.

Apparently the tears had been the night before so with all the emotion out the way it appeared the girls were on a real high ready for the wedding itself.

We had a bright start to the day, but April provided some customary showers a little later on and legendary 'grey' skies!!!  Where's the sun when I want it?






Wedding hair was done by 'Martin' (I think) of The Guild, Suffolk Road, Cheltenham.


Ahhh....lables on the bottom of shoes.  Apparently these were REALLY sticky ones.


That's a very snazzy glass - don't recall noticing it at the time - how very posh!


Wedding dress - Crochet hook - Buttons - Done!


A term of endearment - quick tickle under the chin. (I thought it was funny too!)




Jenny's brother was giving her away in the absence of their dad, so gave her this lovely locket with a photo of him inside to wear on the day - sweet....very sweet.



....meanwhile in the next room the bridesmaids were concocting a plan!




....plan hatched, even if it was a little overcast!

It appears most wedding I go to now, brides have got their wellies ready at hand.






There were a lot of assistant snappers at Cripps Barn for the wedding.......




.....but the best face was definitely provided by this chap.




'ching' drinks were served inside the barn as the rain decided to do it's thing just as the wedding ceremony finished.








Nowt wrong with a good 'selfer' on your wedding day.




With a short break in the wet weather we nipped outside Cripps Barn to shoot a few wedding portraits.


Granddad couldn't believe his luck when the ladies accosted him!
