Ian & Jennie - 17th April 2009
With it being so hot today, it's hard to believe last week had such a strange damp day on the Friday......! I was out photographing a wedding of course, meanwhile the brides dad was cleaning his car in the street (see below). We started at the Burford House Hotel, which was a sweet spot to kick the day off.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at Cripps Barn, a venue I've photographed at before. Thankfuly we had a nice registrar (from Cirencester) who understands couples may just like a few shots of the ceremony itself - wahooo!
(Edited to say, there are now many more Cripps Barn weddings over on my new website)
An overcast day may not be a brides first choice, but it gives simple even light for me to deal with.....every cloud has a silver lining.
ha.....this is funny. Last minute doubts about how to lace 'the dress' up! ARGHHHH. Quick, someone call the dress shop - cue mum to the rescue.
......sorted, all smiles again.

Some magical light in Cripps Barn.
ah ha...yes, the bubbles. Every wedding needs a bubble machine right?
Prepared for wet weather - was it fate?
A short wedding slideshow is below - watch out if you're viewing this at work though - TURN OFF YOUR SPEAKERS!
