Jonny & Julia - 18th July 2009
Weddings and teepees, not something I normally encounter on a typical wedding day, so Jonny & Julia's wedding had a refreshing edge. Not only was the reception marquee a teepee, but there was a sweet collection of smaller ones for their guests to stay in too. Super.
So a wedding and some teepees. You get the idea, here are some pics.
"Dear hubby, I love you lots and lots and lots and lots, but why is Matt hovering around me taking photos"?
The bridesmaid dresses 'steaming the creases out'. Damn that car to the wedding though.......all the bloody creases came straight back would you believe!
Ah ha....the aforementioned teepees. Cool huh. Come on....you know they are. Well I liked them anyhow. Better still, I got to meet 50% of their wedding guests before the day had even started. Forget bridal preps, I've started a new wave of guest preps! With my first ever image below - what a cracker. I'll bet everyone wants to be photographed just when they've got out a swimming pool? LOL.
Morning.
The ladies powder room. Funny really it should have a pool table!? Surely this should have been the lads den (less the ironing board of course)?
I got to see yet more 'tit tape' this week. Strangely enough, used at the back this time.! I know a lot for a bloke....just ask me for all the insider tips.
Mrs Hempenstall........sweet, although for those of you wishing to know, you sign the register with your maiden name by the way.
There was something about this lady, she's sneaked into at least two photos. My wife thinks she looks like Jamie Oliver's wife (now there's a useless fact to put on my blog).
Wahooo..........! Does the guy on the right think the kid may immanently land on his head?
He he....how cute is this little car. About 500 years old 'I think'. ;-)
Apparently, the evening before the wedding they'd had a cowboys and indians theme night. Now that would have been cool to photograph.
It's hard to make this shot look glam, but it needed to be included. Great, "what is it Matt" I hear you ask? Well, those aren't flats....ohh no....HIGH HEALS. Very useful if you want your lawn aerated too.
I really love casual moments like this. The eyes closed make it for me.
Julia's family home - nice huh?
St.Mary's church at Elmley Castle:
ReplyDeleteThe shields on th wall next to the Savage family tomb(s):
The one on the left I was told has a crest of a unicorn above the coat-of-arms.On this shield there is what may be 3 fleur-de-lis quartered.
Do you have a close-up of this you could kindly send in an email to see if it's for the family of Usflete/Uffleet (quite a few early variants) family who had a Beauchamp of Powyk (Powick)family connection.
Kind regards,
Raymond & Marie at rayandmarie2@btinternet.com
Hi again,
ReplyDeleteWe had no reply, but if the quarter does not have 3 fleur de lis on then it is not for Ufflete (Usflete, Uffleet, etc.) family.
Regards,
Raymond & Marie.
In all my wedding Ive never seen tit tape once, maybe I need to hide under the bed with my long lense ;-)
