Barnsley House Wedding Cirencester

Chris and Kerry - 25th April 2010

April threw up some tricky weather for this wedding......a threat of rain (which came true), then blinding sunshine.  Thankfully the day worked out well despite a shower or two and the guests enjoyed a fine wedding at Barnsley House.




Barnsley House is a super venue, the perfect Cotswold wedding retreat.If only the Daffodils were still out for my photo.

It's a popular place 'the village pub' in Barnsley.  I was here on Valentine day too for the wedding of David and Helen.  A great spot and certainly handy for the church.



This is EXACTLY the sort of thing that happens when you drink beer.

Only limited photos were allowed in the church, so I had to get my shots from the back.  Worked a treat when Chris and Kerry turned around though.












Back to Barnsley House for the wedding drinks reception.  First a mingle at the front......


....... then off around the back to the croquet lawn.



The bubbles are clearly making someone giggly!  


Quaint huh, Barnsley House has such nice gardens - loads of options for photos and these tulips make a great accent.




Inside was presented beautifully ready for the wedding breakfast.




....and the best wedding cake award goes to Kerry's sister who made it - how cool is that?




Fellow paparazzi, although these appear to be drinking on the job!


10 mins for some couple portraits and such perfect light for me too.






Did I mention the great gardens :-)  Endless opportunities.  More weddings at Barnsley House please.

The best mans speech was super, if not a little shocking in places!

Barnsley Church Cirencester - Wedding sneak peak

Last weekend I photographed a great wedding at Barnsley Church, followed by a wedding reception at Barnsley House, Cirencester.
