Worcestershire Wedding Photographer - Birtsmorton Court

Chris & Jo - 6th Aug 2009

Another quick post for this wedding as I've finally caught up after 2 weeks but now i'm about to blast straight into another four weddings later this month.

Chris and Jo's wedding was held at Birtsmorton Court, Worcestershire and they laid on a great day for guests including transport to and from the local hotels in Tewkesbury too. Plenty of nice little touches such as chocie favours on the tables and chef hats for the select few at each table in charge of the carvery.

Despite the BBC's forecast a little rain did show up, although this didn't hamper proceedings as we had good weather for reception drinks, formals and even fireworks.

Possibly one of my favourite wedding shoes shots in a while. Not often am I gifted such a beautiful window to place them in.

Yep, I take all the 'gritty' pics. Toast, curlers and a spotty dressing gown.

The all important wedding dress photos.

Attempt no. 1 of getting into the dress. It was one of those moments where you had to be there - funny as!

Drink - drink - drink!

A wet wedding arrival at Birtsmorton Court.

"......and later Jo for the Disco I'll be doing the Jazz Hands dance - what d'ya think?"

Photobucket

Steel drums - cool. A Caribbean feel....not typical, but I liked it.

Photobucket

"ha, that's not even the latest version of the iphone"

Photobucket

....and the grooms no where to be seen.

Colin, ready just in case the beef came running in live.

Wedding speeches (above) and below, a rather odd tilt - could it be the alcohol?

Photobucket

I'd presume Birtsmorton Court hasn't always been a wedding venue, but really, why does it need a moat?

Photobucket

Ahhh.... an interesting sky this evening. It was worth keeping an eye out for the timing to produce this wedding couple portrait.

Whiz, boom, bang......

Photobucket

.....aaahhhhh

Photobucket

First dance.....and for once this couple could dance - good work!

Family Portrait Photography - Swindon, Gloucestershire

The Slaters - 16th Aug 09

Having photographed Tim and Jen's wedding at Westonbirt School back in 2006 it was time to meet again, this time with their new addition to the family - Jacob. Ok, I say 'new', he's actually one, which in baby world means you've typically achieved a lot in the past 12 months that's for sure.

Tim was keen to get some family portraits taken so we chose a local venue (Lydiard Park) and met up for a few hours to shoot some pics. Everyone joined in, from mum & dad, to sisters, partners & kids. I even got to have a slice of cake....thank you Jen's mum.

For anyone keen to have a portrait session of their own, please drop a line with your requirements and we'll get something firmed up.

A classic couple portrait, but one I really rather like.
