Oxfordshire Wedding Photography - St Stephens Church / Friars Court, Clanfield

Daniel & Nicola - 21st Feb 2009

Back in business! The WEDDING SEASON has started.....and whoopedie doo it was a scorcher for the first one of the year. You'd be right to think this isn't Feb, but trust me....it was last weekend, and what a superb weekend it was.

My fist wedding of the year took me across the border from Gloucestershire, into Oxfordshire, working at Friars Court (which is home from home for me). It was a sweet church wedding where it appeared everyone knew everyone - a local affair as mum & dad run the village post office (how cool is that).

So, here's a few shots from the day with a slideshow at the end.

Ding Dong - it's Jimmy Choo's!

A wedding day is often an excuse for your best friends to rummage under your dress.

It's those shoes again.....and a little 'bling'.

There's the little scamp, that is Daniel. Chilling out awaiting Nicolas fine arrival.

Schwing, here she comes. Shoes (again). I just love this shot. It's a little hit and miss having taken it without looking, (hence the focus is slightly off) but got what I wanted overall.

'I do'.

Ahhh....and the smiles, sweet...makes me feel all warm inside! LOL. What am I on about today?

Just digging this shot on the right. It's the ever sweet EF85 f1.2L of course (have I lost you there?) The one on the left's isn't too bad either I suppose, hey!?

Zoom, zoom....off to a room - or at least it should be!

As mentioned I've shot a few weddings at Friars Court, but never taken this angle of the bridge. Such neat light, combined with a pretty frame really make this one of my fav couple shots from the day. The shot on the right is pretty edgy too (with the harsh crop) and looks a little vintage, which I rather like.

Rock da look homeboys.

What made me take the shot from this angle I have no idea. I do have legs, should you be wondering.

Ha, classic speech reactions. Love the framing of this one, with separations between each subject.

The wedding slideshow is below - press 'play' in the center to start it off (you knew that though right?)
